Nannytax | Places to Visit with Children in Surrey

There are lots of great places to visit with children in Surrey. In this blog, our Nanny Ambassador Max shares his top picks.

Hi, I’m Max, aka @themannymax on Instagram. Here are my top places to visit in Surrey during holidays and on weekends!

Hobbledown Heath and Hobbledown Epsom

Two amazing farms equipped with incredible soft plays, interactive areas and outdoor equipment, along with animals, jumping and water pillows, adventure climbing and so much more. An absolute winner for a day out.

They are currently offering 30% off with the code Tesco30 at checkout!

Godstone Farm

This is a place I recently visited for the first time. The biggest soft play in Surrey is on the grounds of this fantastic farm! An amazing Dinosaur trail, as well as plenty of outdoor activities to keep the little ones entertained which include zip lines, animals galore including the fantastic Reptile centre, slides and plenty of places to climb.

Hampton Court Palace

Wanting to find out more about the history of Henry VIII and the Tudors? Then Hampton Court Palace is the place for you to visit! The stunning gardens that have so much colour and life, the magic garden, perfect for your little one to explore with sand, water, slides and places to climb and venture. Of course also the Palace, where you can soak in the rich history of the Tudors and so much more!

Rock Up! Walton

A brilliant and local rock climbing centre, suitable for children from the ages of 2+. It allows your child to practice rock climbing with the fantastic instructors who are around to support and supervise while the children practice different difficulties of climbing. There is also a lovely soft play on site for 6 months +. Another fantastic activity to enjoy!

RHS Garden Wisley

Wisley really is another incredible landscape that shows off Surrey’s beauty in so many forms. With an amazing hilltop which shows you the history of Wisley and gives you the most breathtaking view of the landscape, the Glasshouse is also home to numerous plants and a stunning waterfall. There is a fantastic small soft play and children’s play area. If your little one loves nature, then Wisley provides hours of outdoor fun, curiosity and enjoyment.

Picnic Kingston

Does your child enjoy roleplay? Then Picnic is absolutely worth a visit. Equipped with numerous role play stations including a Hairdressers, Supermarket, Police and Fire stations, a West End stage and a climbing wall, Picnic is a fantastic place for your child to explore and extend the role playing skills of everyday life. They also have a lovely baby area equipped based in the Rotunda. Picnic is a beautiful place to visit.

Jump In! Esher

Is your little one a keen jumper? Then Jump In! is absolutely worth a visit! Equipped with a soft play, numerous trampolines, slides and also a court for a game of Dodgeball, it really is a hidden gem! They also offer toddler time in the mornings for under 4s. A great day out altogether!

These are some of my favourite places to go with my charges and my own daughter! If you are ever visiting the area or live locally in Surrey then do try them out.
