It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for - we‘re delighted to announce the launch of this year’s Nannytax Nanny Salary Index 2017! Unique to Nannytax since 1998, our Nannytax Nanny Salary Index (formally the Wages Survey) has helped shape the nanny industry over the past 25 years, tracking changes in nannies salaries across the UK.

Key features

  • New, enhanced report launched: ‘The Nannytax Nanny Salary Index 2017’ to mark our 25th Year in the Nanny Industry
  • Salaries displayed in gross in support of the #gogross campaign
  • More detailed results than ever before; full report now includes breakdown of more London & UK regions
  • Keeping you informed by tracking yearly salary changes

A New, Enhanced Report

Since its inception in 1998, the Nannytax Wages Survey has been a major event in the nanny industry calendar. This year will be no different, with the launch of ‘The Nannytax Nanny Salary Index 2017’ to mark our milestone 25 Years supporting nannies & families. We have worked hard to enhance the salary data we provide to help guide both nanny employers and nannies with salary decisions.

Leading the way with the #GoGross Campaign

Nannytax was the first to market for nanny payroll; as market leader and an ambassador for best payroll practises we are in support of The Nanny Lounge #gogross campaign. For this reason, our report exclusively displays salaries in terms of gross to promote the importance of agreeing a gross salary for both nanny and family. Find out more about why we advise agreeing a salary in terms of gross.

Breakdown of London & UK Regions

A new feature of the full report is a much more detailed breakdown for London including live-in & live-out nannies in Central, North East, South East, South West, West and North West London. We also have some salary results for live-in & live-out nannies by county and region across the UK.

Tracking Yearly Salary Changes

Our 5 year comparison is another helpful tool found in the full report for an overview of nanny salaries in the UK. This comparison allows nannies, agencies & families to track salary changes at a glance year on year, including changes in hourly, weekly, monthly and annual salaries across the UK. As a long-standing advocate of best payroll practices in the nanny industry, we hope these records help not just in the present, but for many years to come!

We hope you find the results of our Nannytax Nanny Salary Index 2017 as useful insightful as we have. For an overview of The Nannytax Nanny Salary Index 2017 find out more here.
