You might be due for re-enrolment - here's how we can help
Every three years, all employers have a legal duty of re-enrolment. Re-enrolment is the process where an employer must put certain staff back into an automatic enrolment pension scheme, provided the member of staff is not already enrolled in one. If you're an employer who uses our fully managed workplace pensions service (Auto Enrolment), this process will be taken care of for you.
How Auto Enrolment manages re-enrolment for you
If you use our Auto Enrolment service, the entire process of re-enrolment is managed on your behalf.
This includes:
Setting your re-enrolment date
We will always set your re-enrolment date as the three year anniversary of your staging date to ensure everything is completed accurately and on time.
Assessing your employees
We will assess any staff who have chosen to leave your pension scheme or chosen to pay less than the legal minimum requirements.
Re-enroling any eligible staff
We will put any eligible staff back into your automatic enrolment pension scheme for you.
Writing to any re-enroled staff
We will write to any staff who are re-enrolled to let them know that they've been put back into your pension scheme.
Completing your re-declaration of compliance
We'll fill out your re-declaration of compliance that shows you've carried out your legal duties for re-enrolment.
How does this apply to me?
I'm a Nannytax client who uses the Auto Enrolment service
Good news! Everything will be taken care of for you.
I'm a Nannytax client who doesn't use the Auto Enrolment service
You will need to complete the re-enrolment process for any nannies you employ every three years.
You can read our handy guide to re-enrolling your nanny here, or sign-up to the Auto Enrolment service by clicking the blue 'auto-enrol sign-up' button in your Member's Area to have the process carried out on your behalf (as well as any other pension-related duties).
