7 August 2006
When Nannytax first introduced our legal advice help-line in August 2001 it was an instant hit with parents, who appreciated having access to advice from a team of solicitors specialising in domestic employment law – and it was not long before even lawyers signed up. With a raft of recent legislation, much of it protecting the employee, the service (included as a standard part of the Nannytax support package since 2003) has continued to be very well-received. Therefore, we are very excited to announce a number of new features to Nannytax Legal. On the surface nothing will change; the telephone number to Nannytax Legal will remain the same, as will the opening hours, and you will still be required to identify yourself by giving your name and payroll number.
However, in response to requests from our clients and in order to provide a complete and ever improving service, our new legal support team will be working much more closely with you and focus on finding solutions to your problems, rather than just simply explain what you can and cannot do. They will now also accept and reply to email enquiries from you, and will offer help with drafting letters (should you require) at no additional charge to you. Additionally, should you find yourself in a particularly difficult situation, and need more help or support over and above that provided by your subscription, we can arrange for you to meet a member of the legal team in person, and for a special member’s rate they can help to resolve the matter directly.
