How the voucher scheme works

The article reads: "The £96 covers a childcare induction course, first-aid training and a Criminal Records Bureau check." This is incorrect. The fee covers the CRB check and administration, but if your nanny does not have a valid first-aid certificate or a recognised childcare qualification these will need to arranged, and paid for, separately (in advance).
The Sunday Times have been contacted and hopefully this error will be amended on their website shortly.
