How to register with Ofsted |

|
|
Registration is quick and easy, the only thing that sometimes delays the process is the CRB check. Depending on how many different addresses you have had during the last 5 years, it can in some cases take several months for the CRB check to clear.
A step-by-step guide to registration:
- First you need to ensure that you meet the criteria for registration. Ensure that your first aid certficate is up-to-date and that public liability insurance is in place before starting registration procedures.
- The registration process can be done entirely online. To register simply go to the Ofsted website. Alternatively, you can contact Ofsted who will send out a registration pack by post.
- Once Ofsted have received your completed registration form, they will write to you with details of how to obtain a CRB check through them. Please note that even if you already have a CRB check another one will need to be completed as part of the registration process.
- If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Ofsted helpline on 0300 123 1231.
