The Chiltern College Professional Nanny of the Year Award and Conference 2011

On Saturday 17th September 2011 Chiltern College will be holding their annual conference for professional nannies. It’s a dedicated free conference where there are speakers on nanny-related issues and childcare professional stands for delegates to visit. The conference also hosts the Professional Nanny of the Year Award ceremony.

For the last six years, the Professional Nanny of the Year Award has been organised by Voice: The Union for Education Professionals. This year, the award is being organised for the first time by Chiltern College, in conjunction with their annual Professional Nanny Conference, continuing the excellent work that Voice have pioneered.

Philip Parkin, General Secretary of Voice said: 'We are very pleased that the Award will continue as The Chiltern College Professional Nanny of the Year Award. We know that we are passing it into safe hands and wish Chiltern College and the Award all the success in the future.'

Chris Lawrence, Principal of Chiltern College said: 'We are delighted to take this Award forward from the firm base that Voice has established and have the opportunity to promote the role of the professional nanny in the early years' work force.'
