The Professional Nanny of the Year award, introduced in 2004 was created to recognise the highly professional, important role nannies play in providing high quality, safe and flexible childcare to thousands of families throughout the UK. Nannies are often the invisible professionals and it is hoped that this award will significantly raise the profile of professional nannies and help to give them the recognition they so rightly deserve.

The focus of the award is very much on professional and in order to qualify for nomination your nanny must:

The winner of the 2004 award, Louise Kirk, 25 year-old nanny to Kate, has already proved her worth as an ambassador for the profession.

If you think your nanny is right for the award, why not make her day and nominate her? We look forward to receiving your nomination and wish your nanny the very best of luck. Closing date for nominations is Thursday 30th June 2005.
