Introducing Nannyinsure

In response to frequent requests from our clients, nanny agencies and nannies, we are delighted to be able to tell you that we have now launched Nannyinsure, our specialist public liability policy for professional nannies.

Public liability insurance is an essential building block for a good working relationship between families and their nannies and by being insured the nanny also gives a strong message to her employers that she recognises her responsibilities and values the trust that is placed in her when caring for their children. Public liability insurance is also a specific requirement if a nanny wants to register under the Ofsted Childcare Register.

The Nannyinsure policy has been created just for nannies and is quite different from other nanny insurance policies on the market. First of all, for extra peace of mind the standard limit of indemnity is higher than that offered by others (£3,000,000). There is also an option to increase this to £5,000,000. The nanny is also covered not just within the UK, but anywhere within the EU and up to 90 days anywhere else in the world, both on business and pleasure trips. The nanny is also covered if he or she has to temporarily leave their charge with another approved adult.
